7.尽可能不留任何身外之物，如果可以的话，连你的鞋子也借给别人。

12.身上剩的钱要随时够打一通电话和上一次厕所。
Always save enough money for one phone call and one use of a pay
toilet.
13.如果五音不全，就唱大声一点。
If you can't sing good, sing loud.
14.不要为脱脂牛奶而哭泣。
Do not cry over skim milk.
15.不要舔会黏舌头的东西。
Don't lick nothin' that sticks to your tongue.
16.随时留意别人是不是在吹牛皮。
Keep your bullshit detector in good workin' order.

When you think you're so low you gotta look up to look down, beat
yourself hard on the foot with a stick for a while. At least you will
feel better when you stop.
20.随时准备冒险，看看拳王洛基就是因为冒险才成功。
Always be ready to take a channe; look what it did for Rocky.
21.如果你是带头的，不要多话和贸然前进。
If you are ahead, shut up and stay there.
22.要常说「不」字。
A lot is to be said for the word no.
23.不要期望别人帮助你，如果有人帮你，很好，
若果没人帮你，将这件事牵记在心。
Don't expect anybody else to help you. If they do, fine.
If they don't, file it away.
24.尽量别把事情搞砸了，那会让某些人高兴，使所有人吃惊。
Try not to screw up.
This will satisfy a few people, and amaze everybody else.
25.切记：俯身吻你屁股的人，也可能轻易咬你的屁股一口。
Remember this: while somebody is down there kissin' your butt,
they could just as easily be bitin' it, too.
26.任何东西都沾牛排酱吃，这样可以省下不少伙食费。
Put tabasco sauce on everythin' you eat:
this way, you can eat very cheap.
27.不管做什麽事，尽可能师出有名。
Whatever you do, try to have a reason to do it.
